The O’s make the trip to the Gallagher Stadium tomorrow (kick-off 3pm) as they visit Maidstone United in the Vanarama National League.
Justin Edinburgh’s side beat Haringey Borough 2-1 in the Buildbase FA Trophy at the weekend.
The home side took the lead through Michael Ademiluyi on the fifth minute but a goal by the returning Josh Coulson on the 58th minute and a Matt Harrold header 10 minutes from time wrapped up the win and secured the O’s a Second Round tie away to Bognor Regis Town next month.
Maidstone United currently sit in 11th place in the National League, with nine wins, seven draws and six defeats from their 22 matches.
The Stones cruised into the Second Round of the FA Trophy last week with a 4-0 victory over Torquay United. Magnus Okounaghae opened the scoring on the 14th minute before Reece Prestedge doubled their advantage just before half-time. Joe Pigott added a third 10 minutes into the second half before Tom Wraight wrapped up the win in stoppage time.
The O’s claimed a 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture at the Matchroom Stadium in August, David Mooney opening the scoring on the hour mark before Romuald Boco slid home in the last minute to secure the three points.
Defender Josh Coulson played 59 minutes in the 2-1 win over Haringey Borough last weekend and will look to be involved once more as he continues his return from a groin injury he suffered in September.
Matt Harrold came off the bench to claim the winner on Saturday and will be looking to return to the starting lineup as he aims to continue a run of form that has seen him score in both of his last two games.
The O’s may also welcome back defender Jake Caprice who is available for selection following the completion of a three-match suspension.
