Want to work in the sports and leisure sector?

Looking to gain sports qualifications and work experience?

Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme are running a series of free coaching and training courses over the next twelve months aimed at young people aged 16–24 from North East London who are not in employment, training or education.

The purpose of the programme is to upskill young people through providing relevant sports qualifications, volunteering opportunities and one to one mentoring with LOCSP staff.

Students would also receive careers information and advice signposting them to appropriate exit routes in education, training or employment.

Key elements include:

- UK Sports Leaders Level Two Award in Community Sports Leadership.
- Coach mentoring programme.
- Work placement.
- National Governing Body Award in one or more of the following sports – boxing, athletics, basketball, handball, football.
- Careers information and advice – exit routes to employment and further education.

The course programme will be delivered from the Score Centre, Leyton and CBHA’s training centre in Walthamstow over three days each week for a six week period.
