Former QPR man joins on short-term contractFORMER Queens Park Rangers midfielder Martin Rowlands has joined the O's on a month-long contract.
The 33-year-old Londoner left the Loftus Road club in January after nine years with the R's and ended last season with Colchester United.
He featured for the O's in pre-season and has spent the last few weeks training with Russell Slade's men.
Capped five times by the Republic of Ireland, he also spent five years at Brentford earlier in his career and has 64 goals in 424 career games to his name.
He will wear the number 22 shirt during his time with the O's and is available for selection for Wednesday's Capital One Cup match at Everton.
