Dartford Next For O's

27 July 2012

Slade's men head for next pre-season friendly

ORIENT'S pre-season programme continues on Saturday with a trip across the Thames to take on newly-promoted Blue Square Bet Premier club Dartford.

Dartford will be embarking on a campaign at the top level of the non-league pyramid after defeating Welling United in last term's Blue Square Bet South play-off final.

They will provide the O's with their fourth test of pre-season following wins over Sutton United and a Wolverhampton Wanderers XI and a 1-0 defeat to Ebbsfleet United.

Wednesday's 2-0 success against Wolves also brought with it the east Londoners' first clean sheet of the summer and manager Russell Slade will be hoping for more of the same at Princes Park.

Saturday's game will kick off at 3pm with tickets priced at £12 adults, £6 concessions and £2 children.

Orient will hope to have Scott Cuthbert back after he sat out Wednesday's game with a niggle, while Michael Symes and David Mooney will be looking to build on their first run outs of the summer gained in that match.
