New signing wants to make most of Orient opportunity
LLOYD JAMES is looking to make the most of his O's chance after signing a two-year deal with the club this week.
He made his first appearance in the east Londoners' colours in Wednesday's friendly at Sutton and now can't wait for the competitive action to start.
The former Southampton and Colchester midfielder 24, has been in training with the O's since the start of pre-season and he believes that will help as he prepares for the new campaign.
He said: "I've come in since the start of pre-season and I've really enjoyed my time here, so I'm delighted to get it all sorted by signing.
"There's a great bunch of lads here, good characters around the dressing room, and it's good to be around that.
"It's been a long summer without knowing what's going on, so to say that I'm staying here for two years is great and I'm looking forward to pushing on.
"This is a great club. The training ground's brilliant, the stadium's lovely and the lads have helped me settle in well.
"I've played a few games in League 1 now for Colchester and Southampton so I know the League. It's a new start for me now and I'm hoping to push on and go as far as we can with Orient now."
