Winger ready to go again at Pompey despite marathon weekORIENT'S marathon week of travelling continues on Tuesday with the trip to Portsmouth but for winger Lee Cook the games can't come around quickly enough right now.
The former QPR man scored as the O's took Carlisle United apart in a devastating first half at Brunton Park on Saturday.
Orient notched all four of their goals before the break to seal a third consecutive victory and put them in good spirits ahead of their game at Fratton Park.
"It has been a long week, the fixtures haven't been kind to us but if we keep playing like we did on Saturday we'll be fine whether we're at home or away," said Cook.
"Getting a rest for the Gloucester game did me the world of good. I felt fresh for Carlisle and I've got to thank the gaffer for that.
"It was a perfect first half, especially after the long journey on Friday. It was important to get a good start and we did that.
"We reacted well to them equalising too - we got another goal straight away and after that the lads just flourished.
"We've got a good bunch of boys here and we've won three in a row now, so let's keep it going."
