O's keeper pops into Soccer 7s tournament

JAMIE JONES popped over to the Score 3G (opposite the West Stand) last Saturday before the game with Doncaster to see the latest group games in our Schools’ Soccer Sevens tournament and subsequently handed out certificates to all the participants including winners on the day, St Andrew’s school from Much Hadham in Hertfordshire.

The club invites schools from outside our local boroughs to enjoy a day at the Orient that includes watching the O’s in action, meeting star players and even an opportunity to take a penalty against Theo at half time!

“It was good to see the players enjoying themselves; they seemed to be having a great time” commented the Orient number one. And teacher Katy Jones from Epping Primary said: “Thanks for organising another excellent tournament. The children and parents were very complimentary about the club with many keen to return, despite the O’s result!”
