Manager looks to use boost of first win of the season as O's return home for Brentford testFIVE away games from Orient's first six of the 2012/13 season has given them a tough start to the campaign.
So the east Londoners will be hoping it's a case of home sweet home when they return to E10 for two home fixtures in the next five days.
First up is Thursday night's visit of Brentford and O's boss Russell Slade is looking forward to returning to home turf after last weekend's win at Swindon.
"We want to do well at home, every team wants to do that," he said. "We lost our last home game by the narrowest of margins and now we want to put that right.
"Playing so many games away from home at the start of the season has definitely made things more difficult. It's not easy to win away from home and we've had difficult games.
"But now we've picked up three points we're hoping to push on a little bit.
"A lot of self belief has come back to the players. We've had a good week training and that's important. It's lifted the spirits somewhat and we're hoping to take that into tonight's game.
"We have a team that needs bedding in. We've had one or two late signings as well with the likes of Lee Cook and Martin Rowlands, so they're getting used to it and the lads will get used to them.
"I know we will improve and we showed from the Crawley game to the Swindon game, where we took it on again."
Brentford's trip across town is sure to provide Orient with another stern test, a fact acknowledged by Slade.
He continued: "Brentford are a big team in this League now and they've invested heavily in their squad. It's a strong one.
"They got a great win at the weekend and they have made a good start to the season."
Orient face no new injury concerns ahead of Thursday's game, but are still without the services of Lloyd James with an ankle problem.
Slade added: "Lloyd is getting there slowly but surely, but he's possibly a week away from rejoining us for training. We're hopeful that after the Yeovil game he could be back in with us."
