O's skipper Nathan Clarke happy with point after comeback secures a 1-1 draw at CreweSATURDAY'S 1-1 draw at Crewe provided plenty of entertainment for the observer, as Orient came from 1-0 down early on to secure a point.
Martin Rowlands' stunning long range volley cancelled out Matt Tootle's opener for the hosts and both teams had chances to win it in the second period.
Neither could take their opportunities though and O's skipper Nathan Clarke was happy to ensure his side's unbeaten run would continue for a fourth game.
"It was an entertaining game for the fans, from our point of view probably a bit too much!" he told Orient Player.
"We came here trying to be solid and restrict them. We knew they often get off to good starts and they did that on Saturday, which immediately put us on the back foot.
"It was so frustrating [to go 1-0 down] because we were working on the fact they start well the last few days.
"But I thought we dug in well and deserved the draw.
"We had a great period of probably 25-30 minutes of real pressure in the second half and could have nicked something there.
"Overall we were happy with a point and happy to keep the run going."
Orient's turnaround in form from losing their first three League games to taking 10 points from the next four has been built on a solid base which has seen them concede only twice in those four contests.
As part of the Londoners' back four, Clarke is delighted to have established that defensive tightness and wants to see it continue.
He added: "We need to build on that. As a team - it's not just the back four and the keeper - we're working tremendously hard and stopping teams from playing.
"It helps the back lads as it means we can get organised a lot quicker. It's a starting point for us to go on and win games.
"We're four unbeaten now, training's different class at the moment and everyone's on fire.
"We're wanting to take that on into games and we should be a match for anyone in this league with the players and squad we have. We're really positive about the season."
