The lowdown on the opposition and everything you need to know as a fan attending the game tonight
After a turbulent few months Coventry’s league campaign got off to the worst possible start with a ten point deduction before a ball had even been kicked.
Following that bad news they travelled to Crawley Town on Saturday and ended up on the wrong-end of a 3-2 score line. Callum Wilson and Franck Moussa had pulled them level after going 2-0 down.
However a late Mike Jones strike broke the hearts of Steven Pressley’s side.
One To Watch
Striker Leon Clarke joined the Sky Blues on a 28-day loan deal from Charlton on Christmas Eve 2012. The forward made the deal permanent just days later signing a two-and-a-half year deal at the Ricoh. Clarke would go on to score a prolific 10 goals in 14 appearances for the club in 2012-13.
SkyBet make the O’s understandably favourites following the weekend’s results with Russell Slade’s side priced at 10/11 with the Sky Blues at 11/4 and odds of 13/5 on the draw.
If last season’s results are anything to go by then it could be a tight encounter in E10 this evening as back in October last year David McGoldrick’s solitary goal gave the Sky Blues a 1-0 win in E10 before Dean Cox’s first half strike at the Ricoh Arena was enough to secure all three points for the O’s back in April.
Cash turnstiles are in operation for this evening’s fixture, tickets are priced at £15 adults, £10 concessions and £5 under 18’s.
Gallery seats are £25 adults and £15 concessions.
The West and South stands will be in operation for home fans only.
There will be a 32-page programme available for tonight’s match priced at £2 sold throughout the ground, following the final whistle any unsold programmes will be available to buy in the Club Shop.
