Odubajo: "What More Could I Want?"

15 February 2013

Teenager delighted to sign new deal

MOSES ODUBAJO has spoken for the first time since signing a new contract with the club until the summer of 2015.

The signing was met with delight from the Orient fans as the teenager has caught the eye with a number of excellent performances over the last year that have seen him been linked with a number of sides at a higher level.

Moses however is keeping his feet firmly on the ground and is focussed now on achieving success with the club.

He said: “I’m very pleased, I just wanted to get it all sorted and now I can just crack on with this season and hopefully get us to Wembley and as a high in the table as possible and even maybe in the play-offs.

“I’ve learnt so many things over the last year. I think one of the main things is that sometimes things aren’t going to go your way on the pitch but you just have to keep doing the basics right like work hard and your talent will shine through.”

Odubajo came through the ranks at the Matchroom Stadium and he believes that Orient is the perfect fit for him at the minute.

“I think Orient is a big club for me, they’ve produced me and I’ve worked hard for this, I’m going to be playing regularly so what more could I want?

“I’m a London boy so it’s local for me, the fans love me here, the manager loves me here, the players love me here and I’m comfortable here.

“I’m just looking now to cement my position in the side, whether that is on the right wing or at right back and hopefully get to Wembley and make the play-offs.”
