Goalkeeper leaves after choosing not to sign contract extension
RYAN ALLSOP has left the club following the end of his six-month contract with the O's.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper linked up with the east Londoners in July following his release by Millwall and played 24 games - his first in senior English football - for the club.
But having chosen not to sign the contract extension offered to him by the Brisbane Road side, he has now moved on.
O's boss Russell Slade said: "We’re disappointed to be losing Ryan because we made him three offers and met every demand he made.
“He arrived at the club having never made a senior appearance and we felt we did wonders for him here."
Meanwhile, Ryan Brunt has returned to Stoke City following the end of his loan spell with the O's and is currently discussing his future with the Barclays Premier League club.
