NEWS: O's Hope For Lisbie Return

4 January 2013

Slade to take late look at striker's fitness

RUSSELL SLADE will make a late judgement on the fitness of striker Kevin Lisbie ahead of Saturday's FA Cup with Budweiser Round Three match at Hull City.

The O's top scorer sat out the New Year's Day trip to Yeovil Town with a shoulder problem and Orient missed his presence as they crashed to a 3-0 defeat.

He remains a doubt with the injury, but Slade will give him every chance of making a return for the KC Stadium clash.

Also doubtful is left back Gary Sawyer, who has been absent since picking up a dead leg as Orient lost to Scunthorpe in December. Should he remain sidelined, Leon McSweeney is set to continue at left back.

Nathan Clarke (foot) and Lee Butcher (knee) are also on the list of absentees for this weekend's game.
