Midfielder to miss next two fixtures following red cardO'S MIDFIELDER Anthony Griffith will serve a two-match ban after being sent off for the second time this season in Tuesday's victory over Yeovil Town.
The former Port Vale man was handed his marching orders by referee Carl Berry for two bookings within the space of three second half minutes - the first for a foul on Gavin Williams and the second for kicking the ball away.
Having already received a red card this season - in the 1-1 draw at Crewe in npower League 1 - Griffith will be handed an additional game ban on top of the mandatory one-match suspension for a dismissal for a second bookable offence.
He will sit out of this Saturday's League 1 meeting with Crewe Alexandra at Brisbane Road and the FA Cup with Budweiser replay against Hull City on Tuesday.
