Positive feedback from customers as annual period of pitch hire bookings comes to a close.
The commercial team would like to thank everyone who contributed to this year’s end of season pitch hires which saw over 25 games or tournaments take place giving almost 1,000 people the opportunity to play on the pitch at the Matchroom Stadium.
The largest event saw Haven House Hospice hold a celebrity match involving a Tottenham Hotspurs legends XI and Celebrity XI with former England international Teddy Sherringham and movie star Danny Dyer gracing the Brisbane Road pitch, while there were numerous other smaller games involving local schools, supporters, Sunday league sides, sponsors and City based businesses.
Marketing & Partnerships Manager, Rob Noble, commented, “It has been another successful year for the pitch hires in which we have received much praise and positive feedback about being able to use our facilities. It’s great for the supporters and local community to be given the chance to play on the pitch and provides a valuable source of income for the club. The staff behind the scenes once again went above and beyond to ensure people enjoyed their experience.”
“We will be putting prices and booking procedures in place later in the summer ready for May 2014 bookings.”
If you are interested in having a game yourself next season, whether that be for a charity fundraiser, friendly game or to coincide with your end of season presentation evening, then you can register your interest by emailing your contact details to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will forward on prices and availability for the 2014 season when they are confirmed.
