O's team set for Amsterdam step up their training...
The team of cyclists from the Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme (LOCSP) will cycle all the way to Crawley on Friday as part of their training for the forthcoming cycle ride to Amsterdam to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK in June.
The four hour journey for Neil Taylor (LOCSP CEO) and his team will be great practice ahead of the big event which leaves the Matchroom Stadium on June 6.
They were down at the Orient training ground this week to get some advice from the players on fitness and stamina and O's captain Nathan Clarke was full of praise for the team ahead of their journey.
"I think it's fantastic what they are doing and it's for a great cause. It takes some doing to cycle that far and I'd urge as many people as possible to pledge their support to make it worthwhile so we can help tackle the problem of prostate cancer here in the UK," said the O's skipper.
There are plenty of ways that you can support the team with a number of events coming up detailed in the video below from Neil and Phil, but fundamentally you can donate to the cause here
