From team news to tickets and advice on avoiding the queues
FORM: Orient come into the season opener with an unbeaten record from pre-season, which ended with impressive draws against higher opposition. The O’s grabbed a 2-2 draw with Premier League outfit QPR before finishing with a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town last Saturday.
Last season’s League Two champions Chesterfield played a total of eight pre-season friendlies over the summer and ended strongly with a draw against Leeds United before beating Aston Villa 3-1.
TEAM NEWS: O’s defender Scott Cuthbert missed the final friendly against Ipswich. Russell Slade could give debuts to any of Orient’s seven new summer signings, including either Adam Legzdins or Gary Woods who are battling for the number one spot. Though the O’s boss admits some of his new acquisitions still have a bit of fitness work to do.
The Spireites will be without Drew Talbot, who has been ruled out with a groin injury. Jay O’Shea and Dan Gardner are also doubts, which could see Aston Villa loanee Daniel Johnson and Romy Boco make their debuts for Paul Cook’s team.
