O's travel to early leaders looking to build on Oldham win
RUSSELL SLADE'S side travel to the West Country to complete a long seven days of travelling to take on the early League 1 pacesetters Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
The Robins have taken six points from six so far with two 2-1 wins over Sheffield United and Colchester respectively.
Ashton Gate is in the midst of a facelift with some redevelopment work and was the venue on Saturday when the Robins came from behind to clinch a 2-1 win over Colchester thanks to a double from Aaron Wilbraham.
City have a fully-fit squad to choose from after Luke Freeman was passed fit to play.
For the O's, Shaun Batt (calf) and Chris Dagnall (ankle) missed the trip to Oldham but they were boosted by the return of Scott Cuthbert who came through 90 minutes unscathed.
There will be pleasing selection dilemmas for Slade after three of his strikers scored on Saturday whilst the likes of Elliot Omozusi and Lloyd James were on the bench.
It is the last stop in a run that has seen the O's travel 1,200 miles in a week and Russell Slade admits it is an ideal run of games.
"We constantly seem to be on the road at the minute and it's a crazy run of fixtures. We don't have a great deal of time to prepare for games as the emphasis is on recovery and getting the players ready but we have a great group who are willing to give their all," said Slade.
