O's looking to register their first points of the season up at Boundary Park
The last three meetings between the two clubs have ended all square whilst Orient have one only once at Boundary Park since 1986 with that winning coming in the 2011-12 season when a David Mooney goal was enough to give the O's all three points before Ryan Dickson was sent off.
Last year the O's were haunted by their former striker Charlie MacDonald who put the home side in front before the interval before Shaun Batt grabbed a point for Orient in a much improved second half showing.
Oldham got their season underway with a 2-2 draw at Colchester thanks to two goals from new signing Jonathan Forte before they were well beaten by Championship side Middlesbrough 3-0 in the League Cup.
Following the 120 minutes for Orient at Plymouth on Tuesday, Shaun Batt (calf) and Lloyd James (knee) both limped off with injuries whilst Darius Henderson missed the trip with a neck injury, though Russell Slade revealed he could be back in contention this weekend. Scott Cuthbert also returned to the bench on Tuesday having missed the start of the season.
Forte missed the midweek League cup trip but looks set to return to action tomorrow.
