Theo Helps Dunkin’ Opening

17 February 2014

Orient’s Mascot, Theo the Wyvern, was in Chelmsford on Friday afternoon to help open Dunkin’ Donuts new store.

On a very wet afternoon, Theo went along to give the club sponsors a hand with the opening of only their second store in the UK, located on Moulsham Street in the middle of Chelmsford’s city centre.

There was further representation from the football world with former Liverpool and Ipswich defender, John Wark performing the official ribbon cutting alongside the Mayor of Chelmsford.

Theo posed for photos with a number of customers on a busy opening day for the store and is pictured above outside the store in the rain with some local children who came in to sample the menu.

The Chelmsford store is only the second Dunkin’ Donuts store in the UK following the opening of their Harrow branch before Christmas and is part of a rapid expansion with plenty more stores opening in the area over the next few years.

For more details on the menu visit their website and don’t forget to give them a like on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
