O's defender makes shortlist of three for prize at the Football League Awards

ELLIOT OMOZUSI has been nominated for the PFA Player In The Community Award at the Football League Awards.

Since his return to the club a year ago, the O's defender has dedicated a huge amount of time to working with the local community and youngsters in particular to mentor and advise them on how to avoid getting in to trouble with gangs and how to make the best decisions in life.

The PFA Player in the Community Award has been whittled down to a final shortlist of three with Elliot up against Reda Johnson (Sheffield Wednesday) and David Martin (Milton Keynes Dons) for the prize which will be awarded at the 2014 Football League Awards, which will take place at The Brewery, London, on Sunday 16th March 2014.
