THE INFO: Carlisle United

10 January 2014

All the information from team news to tickets ahead of the match in E10 tomorrow

TEAM NEWS: Romain Vincelot is still out for the O’s with a knee problem and David Mooney will be unavailable due to a foot injury. Keeper Jamie Jones remains sidelined with a back injury and Shaun Batt could miss the majority of the season with a torn hamstring.

For Carlisle, Danny Livesey and Paul Thirlwell will miss the clash due to knee injuries whilst Sean O’Hanlon (knee), Courtney Meppen- Walter (thigh/groin) and on-loan Manchester United winger, Tom Lawrence (foot) are all in contention.

FORM: The O’s are looking to keep their place in the promotion spots and their second win of the week after their 2-0 win over Shrewsbury on Tuesday night. Russell Slade will be aiming to maintain their good record against Carlisle after winning 5-1 away on the first game of the season whilst his side also won 4-1 both home and away when the two teams met last season.

Carlisle will be looking for their first win of the year after two consecutive defeats in the last week. The Cumbrians suffered a 2-1 defeat at Crewe on New Years day followed by a 3-1 defeat last Sunday in the tough FA Cup clash at Sunderland.

Carlisle’s manager Graham Kavanagh is confident his side can take something from their trip to E10, “It’s going to be one of the toughest tasks we’ve had this season but if we concentrate on our game we should come away with something to show for it.”

“We’ve managed to get a good run at home and we want to start seeing that in our away games as well.”

We hope they have an enjoyable day and will help cheer the O's onto another victory this afternoon.
