Former Doncaster and Watford goalkeeper signs two-year deal with the O'sORIENT have today (Thursday) signed goalkeeper Gary Woods on a two-year contract following his release from Watford.
Woods is the second goalkeeper to join this summer following in the footsteps of Adam Legzdins who signed last month.
The 23-year-old began his career at Cambridge United as a youngster before joining Manchester United. Woods was released from Old Trafford in 2008 and was then picked up by Doncaster Rovers where his career would take off, eventually becoming the number one goalkeeper for the 2012-13 season which saw Rovers lift the League 1 title and Woods make 49 appearances in all competitions.
Despite promotion with the Yorkshire club, Woods left Rovers and joined fellow Championship side Watford after a successful trial, though failed to make an appearance last season.
