Send us in your photos and messages of support for the lads ahead of 2014-15!
As the new season looms and Orient look to #RiseAgain and build upon last season’s historic campaign, we want you to let us know when you got your first season ticket.
All you need to do is tweet us a photo of yourself, holding a sign with your name(s), the season of your first season ticket on it, then include in the tweet a message of support for the players ahead of the new season. We will feature the best ones on our twitter (@leytonorientfc) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/lofcofficial) pages and share favourites to show the players you are all behind them for next season.
Your tweet must include the hashtag #myfirstseasonticket
Photographed are Dave Cavanagh (42) and his son William Cavanagh (10) from Aylesbury who both renewed their season tickets for the North Stand this week and have been season ticket holders at the O’s since the 2011-12 season.
Dave explains why: “We were coming to so many games that is made sense to get a season ticket as it provides such good value for the pair of us and we’ve loved it ever since. We would have renewed this season whatever happened at Wembley as we enjoy it so much but we’ve got faith that we can go further next year.”
Meanwhile for 10-year-old William, the atmosphere of the Matchroom Stadium is the main appeal.
“I love the atmosphere, especially in the North Stand. We’ve got to know the people that sit nearby us and we have lots of friends,” he said.
In terms of their message for the players ahead of next year, it’s simple: “Thank you all for last year, it was a wonderful season and made us proud. Good luck for next year, we’ll be right behind you.”
Get sending your pictures and messages in now and we will also pick a winner at random who will receive a hospitality dining package for two at one of our home games next season.
Perhaps you have a grandad, aunt, uncle or pal who is not on twitter? If so grab a photo of them and enter on their behalf.
