ORIENT midfielder Lloyd James, spoke of his delight at securing his future with the Club after he put pen to paper on a new deal.
The Welshman has been a key figure in the heart of Orient's midfield throughout the 2013-14 season and will now remain in E10 for a further two years.
"I'm delighted to finally get the contract sorted," said James. "It was an easy decision, as soon as I knew the club wanted to keep me here I decided to sign. I feel settled here and with the lads it is like one big family on and off the pitch, it's a great place to play."
James also believes that his team-mates can banish their Wembley demons at the first time of asking and challenge again for promotion to the Championship.
"I think with the disappointment we suffered we can turn a negative into a positive and go from there. We are full of strong characters and will be ready to push again, make no mistake."
The former Southampton and Colchester man has seen himself move from occasional starter to lynchpin of the Orient midfield in the last 12 months and admits he's pleased with his showing over the last season.
"I'm pleased with my own form this year, I've had a run of games which has done me good - like it would any player. Looking ahead, I want to retain that form that I showed last year. We all want the same thing next year and don't want to feel anything like the disappointment we are feeling at the moment."
