ORIENT midfielder Romain Vincelot cannot wait for the Play-Offs to get underway as the O’s travel to Peterborough on Saturday for the first leg of their Semi-Final.
Vincelot has tasted Play-Off success already in his career with Dagenham & Redbridge when the Daggers were promoted from League 2 in 2009-10 and the Frenchman believes it is an exciting time for the football club.
“I’m massively looking forward to it. It’s the first step of this new little campaign and the most exciting one. The next three weeks could change everything so it’s an exciting time. There is no bad pressure, we are only looking forward to it and enjoying it. We are all mates and want to enjoy this together with the staff and fans too,” reveals Vincelot.
“We need to stay focussed though and give our full concentration to Peterborough to make sure we are ready to go from the first whistle. It’s about the things you can control yourself as a team and individually. You need to do what you normally do, the routine we have had over 46 games has worked really well so you need to stay positive and true to that.
“I believe if we approach it correctly then we can do it but If we concede though, we will stay calm. We have the maturity and experience to keep going, we’ve shown this season that we can turn things around if needs be.”
