PREVIEW: Bradford v Orient

28 November 2014

O's looking to build some momentum ahead of festive period

ORIENT travel to Bradford looking to build on their first home win in League 1 this season. The Bantams sit bang in mid-table in 12th and three points would lift the O’s further from the drop zone and hot on the heels of Phil Parkinson’s side.

Mauro Milanese has been bolstered by the return of a handful of injured players in recent games but still has several concerns, whilst Romain Vincelot will miss the game due to suspension.

Jay Simpson, Shane Lowry, Marvin Bartley all missed the last game and are still doubtful whilst Andrea Dossena and Gianvito Plasmati picked up knocks against Crewe.

Kevin Lisbie continues to step up his training but is still out of contention whilst Darius Henderson and Lloyd James are longer term absentees.

The Bantams will be without Filipe Morais who is out with a shoulder injury though Andrew Davies and Stephen Darby are expected to be fit despite suffering knocks in their last game against Gillingham.

James was the scorer at Valley Parade last season with a goal of the season contender when he spun on a sixpence and bent an exquisite effort into the top corner from a tight angle. The O’s couldn’t hang on that day though as a Nahki Wells levelled in the dying minutes to grab a point.

City have endured a mixed month in League 1 with a win, a draw and a defeat though will be delighted with their last win, a 2-1 victory at Preston.
