Plenty of ties between the two teams on show tonight...Remember it's a 7:30pm kick-off
ORIENT travel to neighbours Dagenham & Redbridge still unbeaten in all away games this season and hoping to progress to the next round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
There are sure to be a few familiar opposition faces for both sets of supporters as for the O's Mathieu Baudry and Romain Vincelot return to their former club, whilst former Orient boys Brian Saah, Jamie Cureton and George Porter could all feature for the Daggers.
Daggers boss Wayne Burnett is also a former O's player and youth team manager too, whilst it could also be a special night for the Batt family as Shaun's brother Damian currently plays for Burnett's side meaning there is a chance the siblings could face each other.
If previous encounters are anything to go by then it could be a lively one. Victoria Road has not been a happy hunting ground for the O's with their only win coming back in 1992-93 in a lively 5-4 FA Cup tie, whilst the last time the two sides met was in the JPT in 2011 when the Daggers won 14-13 on penalties.
The Daggers have got off to a similar start to the O's with just 11 points from 11 games and will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing home defeat to Exeter on Saturday.
For the home side Midfielder Luke Howell is set to be missing from Dagenham’s squad for four weeks after undergoing an operation after an injury setback.
Christian Doidge appeared for The Daggers as an 82nd minute substitute in last Friday’s dramatic 2-1 defeat at home to Exeter City and manager Wayne Burnett may use this game to get more minutes into the striker. Rhys Murphy and Zavon Hines remain absent from the squad.
Kevin Nugent is still looking for his first win since taking charge of the O's after Russell Slade's departure and still has a number of injury problems with David Mooney (ankle), Lloyd James (broken leg), Adam Legzdins (finger), Gary Sawyer (knee) and Kevin Lisbie (shoulder) all still missing.
New signing Jack Price is cup-tied after playing for Yeovil in the competition already whilst Nugent may be tempted to rotate his squad with a trip to Sheffield United on Saturday.
