Young O's 'keeper reveals loan spell at Farnborough is going very well ahead of non-league day

Young Leyton Orient goalkeeper Charlie Grainger has established himself as Farnborough’s number one goalkeeper since joining the Vanarama Conference South side on a long-term loan in the summer.

Grainger went out on loan to Boro’ in July to gain first team experience and made his league debut against Boreham Wood on the opening day of the season.

The 18-year-old has been ever-present for Farnborough and despite the club suffering three defeats at the start of the season, Boro’ are now unbeaten in three matches.

Following back-to-back 2-1 wins against Wealdstone and Basingstoke Town, in which Grainger produced a series of fine saves, Farnborough clinched a late draw at Whitehawk last weekend to maintain their unbeaten run.

Farnborough are currently 15th in the Conference South and host Havant & Waterlooville this Saturday, September 6.
