O's looking to go furthest in the competition for over 50 years
ORIENT will be looking to book a place in the fourth round of the League Cup for the first time since the 1962-63 season when they take on Sheffield United tonight at the Matchroom Stadium.
The O's returned to winning ways on Saturday at Scunthorpe but are without a win at home this season and will be eager to put that right as Nigel Clough's side come to town.
Russell Slade's injury concerns have lessened over the last week with Lloyd James returning to the starting line up at Glanford Park along with Dean Cox who had been struggling previously with a knee injury. Gary Sawyer missed the trip at the weekend as he continues to struggle with a knee problem whilst Adam Legzdins (finger) and Kevin Lisbie (shoulder) are longer term absentees.
The O's boss could make changes to the starting line up from the weekend and has rotated his squad in all of the cup games to date.
Nigel Clough's Blades will be looking to put their 5-2 defeat to Swindon behind them and also knocked out Premier League opposition in the previous round when they beat West Ham. They have no new injury concerns and the history books suggest it could be a close encounter with the last three games all ending as a draw between the two clubs.
The Blades were tipped by many to win League 1 this season and after a slow start were unbeaten in six before the Swindon game on Saturday.
