Dagnall takes Star Man Award

O's striker takes top prize

Around 250 guests were present to see Chris Dagnall named as the Supporters’ Club Star Man of 2014-15 at the 19th annual Supporters’ Club Awards Dinner-Dance on Sunday at the Prince Regent Hotel, Chigwell.
Chris is pictured receiving his award from event sponsor John Boyce of the Mighty Oak Brewing Company of Maldon, Essex - one the most popular of ale suppliers to the Supporters’ Club.

Runner up with the Merit Award was Josh Wright while Alex Cisak won the Performance Award. Scott Cuthbert was named Away Player of Season and for his goal against Port Vale at the Matchroom Stadium on Saturday, March 28, Dean Cox won the Goal of the Season Award.

A special presentation from the Supporters’ Club was made to Kevin Lisbie in appreciation of his service to the O's over the past four years.

Community Liaison Officer Howard Gould presented the LOT awards which went to Elliot Omozusi and skipper Nathan Clarke.

Manager Fabio Liverani and CEO Alessandro Angelieri along with a large contingent of management and staff were present while the special guests from seasons’ past were made up of Kevin Hales, Steve Castle, Terry McDonald, Scott Canham, Carl Griffiths, Ashley Bayes, Lee Steele and former player and subsequent O's 2005/06 promotion-winning manager Martin Ling. The comedy cabaret was provided by Ian Irving.
