LIVERANI: 'The players will give everything'

O's manager on Blades test

Orient boss Fabio Liverani insists the players will give everything in tomorrow’s vital League One encounter with Sheffield United.

The O’s are currently two points adrift of safety heading into the game against Nigel Clough’s side, and while their League One fate is reliant on other results also going in their favour, Liverani is confident his side can pick up the vital victory against the Blades.

“We still believe that with six points we can avoid relegation, considering that together with Port Vale we have the best goal difference,” Liverani told leytonorient.com

“Sheffield United one of the best sides of the League, solid at the back and very creative up front with players such as Murphy and Done who can hurt you anytime.”

And Liverani has urged the O’s supporters to get behind the team in their search for the three points tomorrow, adding:  “I only ask them to support us from the warm up to the final whistle and in return I can assure that the players will give everything they have on the pitch.

“We have had intense training sessions and the attention level has been high.”
