PREVIEW: Liverani on Rochdale test

21 April 2015

O's boss Fabio Liverani previews Rochdale

Orient boss Fabio Liverani insists his team are determined to right the wrongs of Saturday when they visit Rochdale tonight.

The O’s lost out 6-1 at promotion hopefuls MK Dons at the weekend, and Liverani  knows they have to prove a point to themselves, and the O’s fans.

“Saturday was very disappointing and we apologise to our fans that have travelled again in large numbers,” Liverani told www.leytonorient.com.

“We could and should have done better, although I must admit that MK Dons showed a quality on the pitch that none else in this division did since I am here.”

Attention now turns to tonight’s game – the O’s game in hand over some of their relegation rivals.

And while wary of the hosts, he remains confident his side can come out on top.

“They are an attacking side filled with good players especially up front,” he added.

“It's going to be yet another difficult game for us but we are extremely determined to come out of the pitch with a positive result.

“I believe in my players and the attention level for this game is high. There are still three games to go for us whilst some other teams only have two to play so it's yet again all in our hands; we all believe we can make it!”
