PREVIEW: Rochdale v Orient

21 April 2015

Preview of O's trip to Spotland tonight.

FORM

Orient slipped to a disappointing 6-1 defeat over MK Dons on Saturday, and as a result slipped back into the League One relegation zone, and are two points adrift of Crewe Alexandra in 20th place.
Rochdale go into the fixture in seventh place, and if they are to harbour any hopes of a play-off spot, they must win all of their three remaining games and hope results go their way.
Keith Hill’s side lost 1-0 to Gillingham at the weekend, and were reduced to nine men after former O’s goalkeeper Jamie Jones and Matty Lund were sent off.

TEAM NEWS:

The O’s have injury doubts over Darius Henderson and Andrea Dossena (both hamstring), while Gary Sawyer and Gary Woods (back) remain sidelined. Dean Cox is also a doubt with a groin injury.
Goalkeeper Adam Legzdins and Romain Vincelot are long-term absentees with shoulder and knee injuries respectively.
Rochdale will be without former O’s keeper Jamie Jones after the loanee was sent off in their 1-0 defeat to Gillingham at the weekend and Josh Lillis is likely to replace Jones in the starting line-up.
Matty Lund will also miss the match through suspension after being dismissed in Kent.

LAST TIME OUT

Leyton Orient 2
Rochdale 3

The O’s lost out at home against 10-man Rochdale earlier in the season, with a Matt Done double helping Dale to victory.
Done put the visitors into a fourth-minute lead, before Jobi McAnuff levelled for Orient, before Keith Hill’s side went down to 10 men when Ashley Justham was sent off for bringing down Chris Dagnall in the box, though Dagnall missed the resultant spot kick.
Romain Vincelot headed the O’s in front before a second half turnaround saw Peter Vincenti level matters before Done sealed the win.

BETTING

Rochdale are 7/5 favourites to pick up the win tonight, while Orient are 9/5. The draw is 12/5.
