PREVIEW: Dagenham & Redbridge v Orient

14 August 2015

All the information on Leyton Orient's League Two fixture at Dagenham & Redbridge

Leyton Orient prepare for their first League Two away fixture of the season tomorrow as they make the short trip to local rivals Dagenham & Redbridge.

The O’s came within minutes of claiming a win at MK Dons in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday but two late goals saw the hosts snatch the win.

Ian Hendon’s side now return to League duty as they look to bounce back from the defeat at Victoria Road and remain unbeaten in the League following last Saturday’s 2-0 victory at home to Barnet.

Dagenham come into the tie having lost their opening two fixtures of the season, starting with a 3-0 loss away at Portsmouth on the opening day before suffering a 4-1 defeat at Charlton midweek in the Capital One Cup.

TEAM NEWS

Orient Head Coach Ian Hendon has a fully fit squad available for the trip to Victoria Road. Striker Paul McCallum was rested for the match at MK Dons on Tuesday but looks set to return to the side while Lloyd James, Jay Simpson and Frazer Shaw will all be pushing for starts having been on the bench in midweek.

Dagenham and Redbridge are expected to make several changes to the side that lost at Charlton in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night, with former Orient striker Jamie Cureton one of the players set to return to the starting line-up. The Daggers will be without Zavon Hines however who remains on the sidelines.

BETTING (Odds from League Sponsor SkyBet at the time of story being published)

The O’s travel to Dagenham in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday having won on their last trip to Victoria Road, 2-0 in last season’s Football Trophy. They are 15/2 with the league sponsors to win by the same scoreline on Saturday and even money to pick up all three points.

Jay Simpson and Paul McCallum scored the goals in the opening day 2-0 win over Barnet. They are 13/2 and 11/2 respectively to open the scoring at Dagenham and 2/1 and 5/2 to score any time. It’s 7/2 McCallum scores in an away win, 4/1 for Simpson in the same market while if you fancy a win to 0 for Ian Hendon’s men, that’s a 9/4 chance.
