REACTION: Hendon "We deserved more than that"

11 August 2015

O's Head Coach pleased despite late defeat

Head Coach Ian Hendon was disappointed with the result, but not with the performance as his side were denied a Capital One Cup victory by two late strikes from Championship side MK Dons.

The O's lead 1-0 after Dean Lewington's first half own goal, and looked on course for the win until Mathieu Baudry's own goal, and then a stoppage time strike from Carl Baker saw Orient bow out of the competition.

And though his side lost out, Hendon was more than happy with the showing from his side and will take plenty of positives into Saturday's League Two game at local rivals Dagenham & Redbridge.
