O's add forward to squadOrient have added striker Paul McCallum to their squad ahead of the 2015-16 Sky Bet League Two season.
McCallum joins the O's on a two-year-deal after the 21-year-old was released by West Ham United in the summer having joined the Hammers from non-league Dulwich Hamlet in 2011.
While with the Hammers, McCallum had loan spells at AFC Wimbledon, Aldershot Town, Torquay United, Hearts and Portsmouth.
He joined the Dons in 2012, scoring four goals in nine games over a three-month spell, before then linking up with then League Two side Aldershot.
During his two-month stay at the Recreation Ground, the striker netted three goals in nine games and in the 2013-14 season spent a month with Torquay, scoring another three goals in five games.
The Streatham-born striker joined Scottish Premiership side Hearts in January 2014 on a deal until the end of the season, and went on to join League Two side Portsmouth in January until the end of the season.
And on completing the signing of McCallum, Hendon told www.leytonorient.com: "Paul is a big, lean striker who is willing to work as a centre forward. He will go and shut down and do the other side of the game. When it goes up he will get hold of it and bring others into play. He is proven at this level when he has been out on loan.
News of McCallum's signing follows hot on the heels of Blair Turgott, who signed a one-year deal with the O's.
