Orient Legends emerge victorious in front of 2,900 crowdErrol McKellar was absolutely delighted with how yesterday's Prostate Cancer UK charity match went.
An Orient Legends side took on a Men United team made up of celebrities and sportsmen, and the O's emerged 4-3 victorious in front of a crowd of 2,900.
Orient stormed into a 3-0 half-time lead with a double for Gary Alexander and one for Lee Steele. Super Kevin Lisbie made it 4-0 in the second period before the Men United team mounted a comeback.
Former O Jamie Cureton bagged a brace, and Chris Clayton-Smith netted the other, however, the O's, skippered by John Mackie and managed by Martin Ling, picked up the victory on the day.
And McKellar expressed his thanks to everyone in attendance on the day as they all came together to help raise money and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK.
