The O’s goalkeeper helped lead Redbridge to a 2-0 away victory at a windswept Roots Hall in the Essex Senior Cup.
It was the 18-year-old’s first appearance on loan last night, keeping a clean sheet in their win against the Shrimpers. Redbridge scored after 15 minutes when a low, cross was fired home by Billy Drake before Jay Knight added a second late on.

Heybridge Swifts v Dereham Town & Harlow Town v Heybridge Swifts
Following on from Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Dereham Town, O’s young defenders Sam Ling and Jack Humphrey were part of the Swifts side that slipped to a 3-1 Ryman North defeat yesterday against Harlow Town
Heybridge took the lead through Luis Morrison, but were pegged back before the break by Jared Small. . Although they had a good start, they were unable to come back from the two goals after half-time from Ryan Melaugh and Joe Benjamin.
The duo will be hoping to get back to winning ways when Heybridge play Haringey Borough on Saturday.
Harry Lee - Grimsby v Welling United
O’s midfielder Harry Lee (pictured, above) played for Welling United as they lost out 3-1 at Blundell Park on Saturday.
Lee has returned to National League side Welling United on a 28-day loan, after the 20-year-old was initially recalled from his loan spell with the Wings last week.
Sam Corme put Welling in front with only six minutes on the clock, before the hosts levelled two minutes later through Nathan Arnold. Connor Townsend's 12th minute strike put the Mariners in front, and they sealed the win late on through Jack Mackreth.
The Wings will hopefully be able to come back from their loss when they take on Southport FC on Saturday at Park View Road.
