MARQUIS: 'We could have made it easier for ourselves'

22 November 2015

Striker pleased to get back to winning ways

Orient striker John Marquis admitted it was important to bounce back at the first opportunity as they overcome York City 3-2.

A double from Jay Simpson and one for skipper Mathieu Baudry helped the O's to victory, although Marquis was disappointed the O's were unable to keep two two-goal cushions.

The striker provided an assist for Simpson's first, and despite not adding to his own O's goal tally, is happy to be play a supporting role.
