Midfielder set for extended spell on the sidelinesLeyton Orient midfielder Dean Cox is set to spend at least six months on the sidelines after scans confirmed cruciate ligament damage to his right knee.
The 28-year-old, who had scored five goals and assisted seven for the O’s over the course of the season, picked up the injury in training on Tuesday, and scans have revealed the extent of the injury.
“We are all gutted for Dean,” Head Coach Ian Hendon told leytonorient.com. “He is going to be a massive loss for us as he has been back to his best in recent games.
“We wish Dean all the best in his recovery, and know he will come back fitter and stronger.”
