REACTION: Hendon - 'It was a good performance'

7 November 2015

Head Coach happy to progress to the Second Round

Head Coach Ian Hendon was pleased with his side's performance as they defeated Ryman Premier side Staines Town 6-1.

Doubles from Dean Cox and Ollie Palmer put the O's in control before goals from John Marquis and Sean Clohessy helped seal the O's progress to the Second Round.

Hendon was delighted to see his side score three goals inside the 13 minutes to help put them in control, though was disappointed in the manner in which they conceded, as former O Darren Purse netted on his return to the Club with the Swans.
