REACTION: Hendon - 'We performed admirably'

1 September 2015

Head Coach pleased with performance of youthful O's despite defeat

Head Coach Ian Hendon was proud of his side's display despite exiting the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at the hands of Luton Town.

A late deflected effort from Stephen O'Donnell saw the O's lose out at Kenilworth Road after Lloyd James' penalty had equalled matters following Danny Green's first half opener.

And though disappointed to be out of the competition at the first round stage, he was pleased with the performances of his youthful side, which saw five youngsters handed their senior debut (Charlie Grainger, Joe Maguire, Freddy Moncur, Myles Judd and Sandro Semedo).
