PREVIEW: Nolan - 'It will come down to who wants it most'

1 April 2016

Player-manager on the O's encounter against the Minstermen

O's player-manager Kevin Nolan believes it will come down to whoever wants it most tomorrow at York City with both sides fighting at the opposite ends of the League Two table.

Orient sit just two points outside the Play-Offs going into the game, while the Minstermen will be on the hunt for victory to help their quest to stay in the Football League.

Nolan also believes playing away from home over the next few weeks will help the team, having slipped to a 2-0 home defeat on Easter Monday against Hartlepool United.

"We have prided ourselves on the clean sheet record and the away form so maybe having two away games now takes the pressure off the lads from playing at home," said Nolan.

"Playing at home is something we will hopefully be getting better as it goes on and the longer I am here."

He added: "It is such a difficult game at York who are fighting for their lives and we have to make sure we fight against them because we are trying to get back in the Play-Offs. At the end of the day on Saturday it is going to come down to who wants it most and that is what we have got to show."
