REACTION: Hessenthaler - 'We were not good enough in the final third'

23 April 2016

Hess reflects on Dons defeat

Leyton Orient's Andy Hessenthaler admitted that his side lacked a killer instinct in front of goal following their 1-0 loss at AFC Wimbledon.

Lyle Taylor's 17th minute strike proved to be the difference between the two sides on the day and also ended any chance of Orient claiming a Play-Off spot.

Despite seeing the O's drop down to 14th in League Two, Hessenthaler refused to blame the players for their efforts at Kingsmeadow whilst reiterating a lack of clinicalness in the final third.
