REACTION: Nolan - 'We didn't match them at the start'

O's boss reflects on York draw

Leyton Orient player-manager Kevin Nolan urged his side to put in a complete 90 minute performance after a disappointing 1-1 draw at York City.

A slow start at Bootham Crescent saw Orient fall behind to Bradley Fewster's 18th minute strike, and following Jobi McAnuff's missed penalty just before half time the O's went into the break a goal down.

However, Nolan praised his sides character in an improved second half showing, while also acknowledging the heroics of York goalkeeper Scott Flinders who produced top saves to keep Orient at bay before substitute Lloyd James equalised two minutes after William Boyle's 74th minute dismissal for a second bookable offence.

The draw leaves Orient one point off the Play-Off places with six matches remaining, and Nolan admits his side need to become more clinical in front of goal if they wish to finish in the top seven.
