9 August 2016

O's assistant eager for side to stand up to the test

While Orient assistant manager Andy Edwards admits tonight will be a tough encounter for the O's, he is urging them to give it their all against Fulham in the EFL Cup.

Orient host Slavisa Jokanovic's side for the first time since the 2005-06 FA Cup win at Craven Cottage, and the O's will be hoping to cause another cup upset tonight.

Edwards admitted the O's may well make a few changes from the side which drew 1-1 at Cheltenham Town in the League Two season opener, giving others a chance to impress and force their way into boss Andy Hessenthaler's thoughts for the first home league game of the season on Saturday when the O's host Newport County.

For the full interview with Edwards, sign up to Orient Player HD for as little as £4.49 a month.
