REACTION: Massey - 'It's nice to get off the mark'

7 August 2016

Winger reflects on goalscoring debut

Leyton Orient's Gavin Massey was pleased to open his O's account at the first time of asking in the 1-1 draw at Cheltenham Town.

The winger, who arrived from Colchester United for an undisclosed fee this summer, registered his first goal for the club three minutes into his debut at Whaddon Road - which also ranked as the fastest goal of the Saturday EFL 3pm kick-offs.

Speaking after the draw, Massey revealed a point for either side was probably a fair result though acknowlegded it was a shame to not build on the O's first half pressure and hold on for a victory.
