PREVIEW: Leyton Orient v Accrington Stanley

9 December 2016

All the team news and information ahead of the O's home game against John Coleman's Accrington Stanley

Andy Edwards will be hoping to pick up his first home win as O’s boss when hosting Accrington Stanley tomorrow afternoon.

Edwards began with a 3-1 loss at Doncaster Rovers on November 26, with Callum Kennedy’s fine free-kick initially putting Orient in front before Jordan Houghton and two penalties from Liam Mandeville sealed the defeat.

Accrington Stanley come into the game on the back of a 3-0 FA Cup win over non-league side Woking last weekend, where Billy Kee netted twice and John O’Sullivan was also on target.

John Coleman’s side have tasted defeat in their last six league games and find themselves in 20th position going into the match.

Away from home have won games against Notts County (2-0) and Colchester United (2-1).

TEAM NEWS

Defender Yvan Erichot  and Ulrich Nnomo remain doubts for tomorrow’s game with groin and ankle injuries respectively, while Jens Janse (shoulder) returned to the matchday squad last time out against Doncaster Rovers

The former featured in the O’s behind-closed-doors friendly against Southend United last Friday, but remains a little while away from being available for selection.
