PREVIEW: Webb - 'We have to impose our style of play'

16 December 2016

O's assistant manager on tomorrow's test against in-form Chairboys

While tomorrow's trip to Wycombe Wanderers presents a tough test for the O's, assistant manager Danny Webb is calling on the side to impose their style of play on the Adams Park hosts.

The O's are buoyed by last weekend's vital 1-0 win over Accrington Stanley, while the O's have only lost three times on the road this season going into the match.

Wycombe go into the game on the back of seven straight wins and sit in sixth position in the table and Webb knows just how tough it will be against Gareth Ainsworth's side.

The 33-year-old believes Ainsworth has done a tremendous job at Adams Park and sees him as role model with how he has progressed all the way from player to manager of the Chairboys.

Webb also knows the O's are in for a difficult day at the office with former striker Scott Kashket in top form for Wycombe, having netted 10 goals in 11 games.

For an extended seven-minute interview, where Webb talks about the meet the manager evening held on Monday in the Supporters' Club, and how he is settling into the assistant manager role, sign up to Orient PlayerHD for as little as £4.49 a month.
